The story

How we did it

The challenge

To sell more Cognac and Champagne at airports, duty-free sellers first needed to boost their drinks knowledge. Pernod Ricard needed two mobile eLearning modules - informative, fun, engaging and translated for global use.

The strategy

We built two creative ‘wrappers’ that make learning look and feel anything but boring: a Secret Cognac Soirée in an AI-generated French town house, and a Champagne journey aboard a Perrier-Jouët bottle-shaped hot-air balloon - each ending with a knowledge test.

A phone held in one hand showing the opening screen of the Journey through Champagne module, with a watercolour hot air balloon over a chateau and vineyards, and a Begin button.Three Journey through Champagne module screens shown against a watercolour copper still: an introduction from Pierre the balloon pilot, an interactive cellar tour with Simone the Cellar Master, and a completion screen.
Three Secret Cognac Soiree screens shown against a watercolour Paris townhouse: a house floorplan, a grape variety mini-activity, and a sensory mastery page on glassware.A watercolour illustration of four guests in evening dress on a terrace, holding cognac glasses and watching fireworks overhead.
