Topping the independent agency tables – TMG picks up 2 accolades

We’ve always been proud of our independence as an agency. At The Maverick Group we don’t feel like we need to be part of a larger agency network, or just an entry in a long list of companies owned by one of the big advertising conglomerates. Instead, we have always valued our independence – it brings us not only the ability to be brave in our executions, but it helps us retain some of our family values and culture that has kept Mavericks here for many years.

So, when the recent Drum Independent Agency list was released, we were very humbled to see this independence recognised with not just one, but two incredible accolades.

Firstly, The Maverick Group is #1 (yes – number one!) on the Top Independent Agencies with under 100 staff, making us the leading independent medium-sized agency in the UK. And, secondly, we’ve made the Drum’s Elite Independent Agency list, which is essentially the top 10 independent agencies in the UK across all sizes and segments.

The results come from the Drum’s Independent Agency census, where they polled our staff and our clients, reviewing our performance based on a number of metrics and scale of business. That makes this us even more proud – despite the difficulties of the last two years, we’ve not only managed to grow but we’re getting positive feedback from our customers and our people.

These two honours also follow hot on the heels of recognition as one of the Top Digital Agencies in 2022 by the Drum, meaning we’re not only garnering attention for our independence and the quality of our integrated work, but excelling in fields like digital marketing and transformation through our specialist business units like Hive.
