The Golden Globe Race is the world’s toughest endurance race. It encompasses 30,000 miles, no physical contact, a total ban on modern navigation technology, and some other minor things like extreme heat and cold, sleep deprivation, and being continuously at sea for 300 days. In essence, it was the perfect project to THINK MAVERICK on.
To mark the occasion, we teamed up with the race’s youngest competitor – and only woman – Susie Goodall. Working with Susie – and her sponsor, DHL Express – we created a dedicated website and suite of communication materials, art directed a photo shoot, and shot an epic film to tell her story.
We also developed an exhibition stand for the London Boat Show, and branded Susie’s classic ship to show our support for her great adventure.
